CURRENT MISSION I am trying to be focused on my artwork. ABOUT ME I am 59 years old and single. I consider myself an artist although I now work a full time desk job. I try to spend as much time as I can doing my art. I am also a tool addict and although I don't have too many I love them!! I have traveled some in the pass - Europe, Canada, Australia and am trying to do more now, (Istanbul)using my art as a reason to go. I enjoy talking and laughing and seeing life from a different angle. PHILOSOPHY Try - with all your might - to have a good time.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I live in a very small apartment and so can not be a host - but I would be happy to meet and play tour guide to people visiting San Diego, CA COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Not sure if this applies - but while traveling I have enjoyed chance encounters, long conversations, and being introduced to people I would have NEVER meet if I confined myself to being a tourist. Meeting people is what it is all about!
Music, Movies, and Books
Various - I am on a screening list so I see all sorts of movies - not much into violent,esoteric,cartoon or childrens films. Books, mysteries - I do lots of "books on tape' while I work on art.
My Interests
Applied Arts of all kinds, flea markets, thrift and junk store. Used books shops (it is great when they are connected to coffee houses!!). Walking in cities, urban life!
