CURRENT MISSION meet cool people from all over the world ABOUT ME I'm an American, mostly from Cleveland (I also lived in Cincinnati for 10 years). I'm a history/anthropology double major that's minoring in German and Arabic. I can pretty much make a good time out of anything. From fall of 2011 until summer of 2012, I'm going to be living in southern Germany, but I plan on seeing as many parts of Europe as possible. However, "seeing Europe" is not restricted to sight seeing. I'd like to see what there is to each country that I stay in, but I'd also like to get to know the people, the culture, and maybe some basic phrases in the language. I can speak English and Hindi/Urdu, but if the host speaks any language that I'm learning/improving (German, Arabic or Portuguese), I'd prefer to converse in that language. Mind you, my Arabic and Portuguese are still pretty bad, but I'd be happy to try and improve them! PHILOSOPHY I've observed that a lot of people live in a bubble, which is mostly restricted to their community. I'd like to break out of this and see as much as I can. I also try and understand people the best I can, I think there's a good thing I can take from each person that I meet.
