ABOUT ME

ive lived most of my life in a small, green,quite community (population 250!). this made stepping into the world of traveling two years ago a huge blasting eye-opener. after three years of being bound to the state with military service and volunteering in an S.O.S childrens village i found my wings and cant get enough of this flight. countries are not comprised by borders of land but of the people that populate them, and that's what interests me most.

ive love surfing and meeting new people, its never been a dull experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

as ive only been traveling since i joined cs so ive never hosted (yet). but my amazing and versatile hosts from around the world have givin me a great example how to be one! all of the people ive met made huge impressions on me, my way of seeing ife and the country they live in. great big hearts are opening. i feel this is such a unique way to love mankind. Zack who hosted me last year in osaka(and last night, again!) is now one of my closest most cherished friends. so its hard to sum up all of these different experiences.

Interests

This list could go on and on...: hiking, being in nature, yoga, meditation, chilling in a hammock (i take this one very seriously..), healthy cooking, scuba diving, any art, singing and jamming off key, mountain climbing...generally any sports, anything that induces laughter and brings happiness.

Music, Movies, and Books

im a total book worm so making a list is absurd.i will chomp your ears off about it if youre keen though. i love good films that dont have cheesy predictable endings and all japanese manga and anime (miazake especially!).
music is a huge part of my life- i especially enjoy going and seeing live local bands i dont know bands.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel that i always learn more from my hosts then they do from me but the stuff i do love in my life is open and exposed to all to learn from if you wish:
Taekwondo black belt, Thai massage therapist in training, middle eastern cooking, how to make mosaics,i know a fair bit about plants.

What I Can Share with Hosts

usually some funny stories from around the world, maybe a different view of things they already know. i love sharing yoga and meditation with those who are keen.i have lots of music in different styles and if we find the time and its appropriate maybe i can practice some Thai massage with my hosts.
