Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I wanna see as much as possible new places and to get the "feeling" and "understanding" of a city/country. That is why i am on couchsurfing.
As a torist yours trips stay only at the surface, while with a local friend you get a deeper understanding of the life, culture, local food and you get the chance to live in a local neighborhood, out of the typical touristic area.
It would be just great if you give me an idea of your culture.
