A yoga mat, a good book and a cup of coffee can make me happy for quite a while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is an excellent way of sharing experiences, meeting new minds, and exploring this big beautiful world.
I am an anthropologist by training, and work as a film producer/translator. Being a 'vegetarian' who occasionally indulge in lamb, yogi and traveller teaches me to lead a life of minimum impact.
Having spent substantial time with the Tibetan nomads, I appreciate human bonds and love creating a sense of belonging for those with whom our paths cross - exactly the way how I have been treated there.

Music, Movies, and Books
What intrigues me in these different forms of arts is the cultural spirit associated with a particular place/region, rather than the particular genre...
A recent good book: The train to Pakistan by Kushwant Singh
movies: Dersu Uzala, Ivan's Childhood, Underground (by Kusturica)..
music: Chopin, Rachmaninoff...
food: mostly vegetarian dishes, Indian ones. Culinary arts have no boundaries. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teach, Learn, Share
"Doubt - doubt all the possibilities you have. Doubt what you are doing now."
- Best advice I've received.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Time is the most precious thing you can ever share with someone.
