Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have met a lot of great people staying with my friend and neighbor and now I think it is time for me to give it a shot. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I haven't had any couch surfing experiences personally, but my good friend and neighbor seems to be enjoying her couch surfing experience, so why not join in the fun?
Music, Movies, and Books
So many greats... Here are just a few; Donnie Darko, American Beauty, The Ninth Gate, LOTR, Fight Club, wow it looks like my taste is kind of dark, I just learned this about myself. Music? Right now I am really into ADIEMUS (Songs of Sanctuary), and Sigur Ros. But I am a 90's rocker at heart loving a variety from NIN and Tool to Enya. I really enjoy most music, except country, I don't know why (I keep trying :). Books! I am taking a semester off to travel and relax and this is the most exciting thing...I get to read for pleasure! My favorites are; Anne Rice's vampire series, Forever War, and so many more. A few that I snuck into my study time this year are Perdido Street Station, House of Suns (love!), and Leviathan Wakes.

Teach, Learn, Share
To share: I have a variety of eclectic skills; from how to tie your shoes so they will only come undone when you want them to, computer programing, dog training, bicycle repair, back cracking and massage, vegan/vegetarian cooking, motorcycle riding, arts and crafts, and anything concerning childcare, or cognitive science. To learn: I am always excited to learn new life hacks, random skills and trivia. I would like to practice speaking Spanish and surfing, although maybe not at the same time.
My Interests
I like to be at the ocean, snorkeling, making sand castles, bogie boarding, surfing (I'm not so great yet), and enjoying a good book on the beach. I like to meet new people and share stories, eat good food, got to bed early and sleep late haha. My favorite books are science fiction.
