I'm Ashkan! Born and raised in Tabriz, Iran, I left my home country at 22 and have been exploring the world ever since. My love for nature started young, with hiking, camping, and mountain climbing, but over time, my adventures expanded into hitchhiking, nomadic living, and embracing life outside my comfort zone.

I've been using Couchsurfing since 2014 because it’s a perfect way to connect with people from different walks of life. For me, each person I meet is like a mirror, showing me a new side of myself that I hadn’t seen before. I love adventure, but I always approach it with a mindset of safety and calculated risk. Learning from others’ experiences is invaluable to me, and I hope to meet as many people as possible to exchange stories, perspectives, and ideas.
