I consider myself to be an individual who appreciates the paved road, but- more often than not- will opt to take the path less traveled (metaphorically speaking, although it may happen literally, as well).

The path may be rough and winding (and I may find myself wondering why the hell I chose this route), but this path frequently enriches my life, exposing me to the beauty that I would not have seen otherwise.

I am currently an online student, with (as my father tells me) too much time on my hands, so I travel often in hopes of meeting individuals who are just as confused with this whole "life" thing as I am.

I am very much into learning about the world around me, and I have found that one of the very best ways to do that is through the arts, including music, movies, and books.

As some personal favorites of mine- I can almost always enjoy a good horror film, though lately I've been pretty into those films that leave you with the odd "what the hell just happened?" question in your head. (I'm pretty sure they call those Dramas).
Many of my favorite books have been written by Paulo Coelho, with 'The Alchemist' being the first and 'Veronika Decides to Die' coming in at a close second. Oh, and I like poetry; I like poetry a lot.
As for music- well, I'm a bit scattered. I can really get down to some 60s soul and 70s soft rock, but I frequently jam to rock and hip hop from the later decades.
