About Me

Kids doctor, storyteller, emotional, technicolor persona, cultural chameleon. My only weakness is my honesty. I am direct with eerie dry sense of humor. Top on the food chain, I am a foodie and I love cooking and juicy meat. Vegetarians definitely welcome, however I couldn’t yet prove that plants don’t feel pain or find a humane way to kill and chop an onion... at least I cry when I do it, so you cannot say that I lack compassion!
I also love hugs and sleeping twelve hours whenever I can. The rest about me you can figure out by yourself as I do not mind direct personal questions. I’m mostly easy going but I do have my demons. I live in MADABA, an extremely boring little town. MADABA COULD DISAPPOINT YOU. Check google maps and decide before you weep of regret. YES I do hate having to live here. NO public transportation to Dead Sea or Petra. Public transportation in Jordan generally WILL DISAPPOINT YOU ALSO. My house is best suited for long term travelers not on any agenda. If you are a tourist with a tight itinerary you can very easily forget about this wretched town.
I want my home to be a safe place of rest and relaxation and friendship for world citizens worn out by the brutality of travelling or life. So, if you are gay or straight, religious conservative or not, conformist or a rebel, life treated you well or did not, you are welcome for who you are, and I would love to hear your story. You will basically share life with me during your stay, save for there is little to do in Madaba. Being halfway between Amman, south and the airport. I live at the crossroads of travelers.
Two nights preferred. Some guests need like one day to loosen up! I am open to consider emergency and last minute requests.

If you bring me a fridge magnet, a post card or something yummy from your country, I will fall in love with you. I am pro-life and I encourage breastfeeding in public. I am not a feminist. I support women’s right to be mothers and home makers (the greatest job on earth). Its about roles and competence. I am open minded to healthy expression of the wide diversity of human beings and novel ways of constructive thinking 🤔💡🌈! I am Christian but not religious (believe me it works) 🙂 I judge no one, not even myself.
I believe that nothing I have is truly mine. It’s all grace given to us by an infinitely loving God who shines His sun and sends rain on everybody! To serve others is a privilege.

To see how some manage to pull through the difficulties of life. I am very nosy and I like to get into people’s business! Everybody's journey is different. Its nice when our paths cross, even for a short period of time. I love seeing my guests relax and open up as hours pass - 100% success! Music, Movies, and Books

I am not much of a TV or movie guy unless with others. I have Netflix so I don’t sound too eccentric but I rarely watch it. My music tastes differ with my mood.. whatever sounds good and can sooth me after a long day such as Omar Khairat, Maan Hamade, Alaa Wardi, 2Cellos, Piano guys, Dalida, Stjepan Hauser, Kendji Girac, Agustín Galiana, Zaza, to name some.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I came first place in a race against 150 million sperms! Unwanted pregnancy.. so I forced myself onto this world. Battled depression, 👊Battled injustice with forgiveness💪 (it really works), baking bread, Panettone, avoided paying a restaurant bill once by washing dishes for them (a lot of dishes)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you a massage (certified), teach you useful Arabic words including swearing, how to bake bread, how to draw blood, how to do a biopsy, how to do mouth to mouth CPR, how to give shots, how to dislodge a foreign body from the windpipe, how to cook several Arab dishes.. and many other medical and nursing and cooking skills. I can take care of your health problems if you happen to come with any. Don’t be shy to show me your rash! Only love is contagious!❤️

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, medical advice/check up, relaxing head/shoulders/back massage, dry, seemingly offensive sense of humor.
