Overview
About Me
I am exploring the complexities of identity, culture, and social dynamics in different communities. My interest centers around examining how gender roles are constructed and negotiated within indigenous societies, as well as the impact of colonization on traditional gender relations.

ABOUT ME
Non scholae sed vitae
My life experiences and personal growth have shaped me into the person I am today.
PHILOSOPHY
The saying "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a golden rule for treating others with kindness and respect. It encourages me to consider the feelings and needs of others before acting, and to treat others in the same way they would like to be treated. By following this principle, I can contribute in creating a more compassionate and cooperative society where everyone is valued and appreciated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting travelers from all over the world, learning about their backgrounds, and sharing my own culture with them. Whether I'm hosting or surfing, I always come away from the experience with new perspectives and friends for life.
Interests
'I play football sometime for a team and I organised the social outings. I usually arrange at least one social activity and each time it is a different activity. I liaise with the others to find out what they'd like to do and put in place the arrangements. I really enjoy creating team spirit in this way and it also allows me to use my organisational skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Dadiangas is now my home and this place is popularly known as General Santos City. This is nestled at the southernmost tip of Mindanao. Geographically, it is beautifully set against the backdrop of rolling mountains such as Mt. Matutum and the distant peaks of South Cotabato, with rivers and fertile plains that enrich its land. The city is world-renowned as the “Tuna Capital of the Philippines,” making its seafood a must-try, along with the fresh tropical fruits and diverse local delicacies. Surrounding areas boast pristine beaches, hidden islands, lush forests, and thriving marine life that highlight the natural wealth of the region. Dadiangas is also home to rich biodiversity, from exotic birds to native wildlife, making it appealing to eco-tourists. Indigenous communities like the B’laan and T’boli preserve vibrant traditions, crafts, and colorful clothing. A melting pot of Cebuano, Ilonggo, Tagalog, and native languages, Dadiangas exudes a warm, multicultural spirit that makes every traveler curious to explore.
