Hi, My name is Asia Carter and I love to travel, and am making it my mission to try to take a weekend trip somewhere at least one weekend a month--hopefully two! Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm couching surfing because hotel fare (and even AirBnB) can get expensive, especially if I am able to traveling as much as I intend to. I also would love to make some new friends in the cities that I visit and have an insiders guide.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Erin Rae and the Meanwhiles, The Killers, Sufjan Stevens, Modest Mouse, Gregory Porter, most big band jazz bands, Kendrick Lamar Movies: anything with Greta Gerwig. I also REALLY love watching bad/low budget/cheesy movies. I love indie movies and blockbusters alike, having studied film theory I love and am open to a lot of types of movies Books: A Separate Peace, 1000 Splendid Suns, anything by Faulkner
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I dropped out of college to pursue a more fulfilling life and haven't looked back since.
