About Me

What do you need to know about me?
-"Hello mate!" is a phrase that often leaves my mouth, whether talking to friends, dogs or strangers alike
- I have an excellent collection of patterned shirts (I might be biased)
- "Bristol Friends Social" is a Bristol based Meetup group that I was fortunate enough to be an organiser for https://www.meetup.com/Friends-socials-Bristol/
- A large proportion of my wages is spent on buying, cooking and eating food (and saving up for travelling)
- Wherever I am in the present is my favourite place to be as long as the sun is shining

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people and exploring new places is very exciting for me, I love hearing about people's life stories and views.
Travelling and doing something other than the standard tourist things with some locals is also a massive draw of couchsurfing.
**Unfortunately I don't currently have roommates who would be willing to host, but I'm hoping that my next place will be CS friendly :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmm...

I've been watching Star Trek: The Next Generation ALOT recently.

I'm really enjoying listening to Soul, Disco, Blues and Motown at the minute, I also go to a lot of live gigs around Bristol(my hometown) mainly Jazz, but I'm up for any live music really.

Films that either have a quirky sense of humour, are thought provoking, and/or have an interesting visual style are ones I enjoy watching, but I will probably enjoy some aspect of any film/genre.

I'm currently reading "A Game of Thrones". I recently read "Animal Farm" and I've been looking to get my hands on some more Orwell. I'd be well up for new book recommendations.

Off Menu, Table Manners, My Dad Wrote a Porno, The Moth radio hour, Myths and Legends, Hilarious World of Depression, Philosophy Bites, The Science of Happiness, and The Savvy Psychologist, are podcasts I regularly listen to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wild camping in a hammock on the bank of the river Danube with my boyfriend.

Camping in Samothraki, a beautiful Greek Island with a free campsite and lots of waterfalls.

Hitchhiked from Bratislava to Budapest to Belgrade to Gevgelija to Thessaloniki to Athens.

Paragliding in Mayrhofen, Austria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to cook a British style fry ;P I love cooking and can attempt to teach you a recipe.

Love sharing food, drink and conversation

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd also like to share food, drinks, and laughter, as well as my chilled out and open-minded demeanor.
Talking about life experiences, theories, opinions and philosophy is great.
And I'm a pretty tidy person, I've been known to do cooking and/or washing up as a means of thanking people I've stayed with.
Also returning the favour by hosting if you fancy visiting the UK.
