Overview
About Me
Hola! im Asier 🤝🏽 a Spanish boy living in Copenhagen.
When im not at the office i spend most of my time sketching, painting, sculpting and doing art in general, i also like to do plenty of sports, climbing, swimming and boxing are my main thing at the moment 🐙
When at home, i would say im an easy going person, i've got a calm temper (Almost a vegetable some would argue), but im also very curious and always down to discuss any topic of conversation and ask a ton of questions to people as long as everyone involved feels confortable. I would say that im also decently funny when you get to know me, and although english is not my native language I can come up with some decent puns from time to time.
When outside, i like to try new stuff all the time, visit places, go to expos, parties, hikes, basically whatever that makes my mind go active, even better if i do it with some good company 👥
I don't check this super often, so feel free to contact me on ig (Also if you want to do a vibe check 🤝) @asier_morais
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like traveling and exploring new cultures but im not a big fan of the invasive tourism model that you have to take part of these days to visit most places. I feel that that kind of "blueprint tourism model" make places and experiences feel kinda the same, It feels staged and performative, and thats lame, and im not lame at all 😤
Coachsurfing seemed like a great alternative to visit a place as an outsider while integrating into the flow of the town without disrupting the routines of the people who live there and raising the rents and capuccinos prices in the area by a 1000% so I decided to try it out 👀.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 I'm into folk music from around the world, though I mostly vibe to tunes in Spanish (Flamenco-core lad right here 💃🏽)
📚 Regarding books i mostly like to read short essays , a couple of my fav ones are "In praise of shadows" by Junichiro Tanizaki and "The usefulness of the useless" by Nuccio Ordine. Also i read a ton of graphic novels and comics being two of my favs "Hellboy" by Mike Mignola and "BLAME!" by Tsutomu Nihei. " The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon, very relevant on these days...
🎥 Im not really good at watching movies so my taste is pretty basic so i'll recommend you a couple of shows that i really love instead, "Utopia" by Dennis Kelly (Not the U.S. version!) and "Scavengers reign" created by Joseph Bennett and Charles Huettner, amazing sci-fi with some seriously cool animation.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the meanest Spanish cursing words to leave your friends and foes speechless 🎤.
I can also teach you some drawing if you are into arts 🎨, and casually drop some sick dinosaurs facts while doing it 🦕
I would like to improve my danish and chinese seriously so you might be able to help here 👉🏾👈🏾
Also im starting to consider learning some dancing skills since people have started realizing that im always pulling off the same 3 moves so its time to update my pool of moves 🕺🏽
Also i go a lot bouldering but i have never learned how to properly climb with ropes, so if you are into that stuff don't say it too loud unless you want to spend a few hours getting frustrated while teaching me how to do a simple knot 🪢
What I Can Share with Hosts
Visiting the coolest spots in the Copenhagen with the absolute coolest lad in Copenhagen 😎 (Not me, but im sure we will find someone)
We can go to some workshops, museums or galleries, and pretend we are top notch artists.
Some times, a smooth bikeride in town works just fine 🚴🏾
