Hi Reader :) I'm Asim, born and brought up in the capital city of India, New Delhi, stayed in Denmark for some time. I visited Belgium when I was about 8 years old and attended a school there for a few months. So you can say I was pretty global from a very young age ;) Being a big city boy, I love my Jaipur house due to its relatively large size and quiet atmosphere. We have a courtyard and garden too :) (something which is quite rare now in the city). I prefer to host Couchsurfers in my Jaipur house. I used to host csers only during the weekends, as I spent my weekdays in Delhi, but for now until end of June '19, I'm available in Jaipur fulltime. Off late I've been very busy with work, so i don't get time to host much. I've been traveling myself often, and don't find myself in jaipur as much as I'd like to. When possible i would like to host with my girlfriend- Bhavna, where we'd drive down from Delhi for the weekend, so female groups may also feel comfortable to send me requests. In general, I'm a pretty chilled out guy to hang out with and promise to be a great host :) I also know the in and out of New Delhi/Jaipur, so feel free to ask me any travel advisory. I always look forward to meeting new and interesting people and share experiences of various countries with them. About me : 6ft half bong, well spoken with high level of english proficiency, slim & a big foodie at the same time :) I consider myself fairly well travelled EUROPE: Nordic region, Benelux, UK US: East coast Asia: China Central, east and north east, west, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, HK, SG, Macau, Indonesia Mena: UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kenya, Georgia
Fluent in English
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I started Couchsurfing by accident, during a work trip to Shanghai, when there was a problem with my hotel reservation. What happened next, let's just say I got addicted to this stuff and just couldn't have enough it! ;) Infact now, I don't want a boring hotel stay, and always prefer to stay with locals. I want to know really how locals live and crave for conversations to know more about the country from the locals perspective. In general, I look forward to meeting chilled out fellow travellers and meet new and interesting people from different geographies! :)
