Overview
About Me
Mathematics teacher by profession, solo traveler by passion ☺️
I’m living a childhood dream, one border at a time—36 countries and counting. It all started with a leap of faith on a solo trip to Lviv, and I haven’t really stopped since.
I’m deeply independent and truly cherish my autonomy. I enjoy navigating my own path, but I also value meaningful connections, shared moments, and genuine conversations along the way. When I travel, I’m not just visiting places—I’m looking for authentic experiences, whether that’s wandering through unfamiliar streets or discovering a hidden cafe (usually on the hunt for the best Chai Tea Latte or coffees or local drinks etc..)
When I’m not traveling, I enjoy a mix of calm and creative activities. I like staying connected to movement and light activity in ways that feel right for me. I also enjoy music and creative expression, and while I don’t play guitar regularly at the moment, it still holds a special place for me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel for human connection as much as for places. A city truly comes alive through local stories and shared experiences. I’m also excited to attend my first CS meeting in Malta soon.
And just to keep it simple—this space is about respectful, cultural exchange
Interests
I enjoy staying connected to movement and creativity in different ways. I used to enjoy cycling and more active sports, and I appreciate staying active in ways that feel right for me.
I also enjoy music, and while I don’t play guitar regularly at the moment, I still love it as a form of expression.
I value learning new things, discovering different lifestyles, and keeping a curious mindset in everyday life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Arrived at my host’s place in Bratislava and was immediately handed math problems. We spent the evening solving equations together while his 6-year-old nephew was busy cracking clue-based math games around the house 😅 Unexpected, nerdy, and absolutely memorable
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share a simple and friendly perspective on mathematics (don’t worry, no heavy lectures 😄), Turkish culture, and travel experiences from different countries.
Learn: Local stories, cultural habits, and everyday life perspectives from different places.
Share: Good conversations, positive and easygoing energy, travel stories
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d be happy to make you Turkish coffee (the practical but tasty version!) and share some Turkish delight while we talk about life, travel, and everything in between.
