To know the rules well so I can break them properly.
Basically a very disciplined hippy.
Unconditional love. I think all which is positive follows from this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My Grandfather and I have taken in plenty of Couchsurfers and other travelers over the years. We stay in contact with most of our guests and many have even become extended family :)
Wonderful at best, a learning experience at worst. Nothing awful.
Yoga, Aikido, other "traditional" martial arts, massage therapy, new-school anthropology (especially medical anthropology), language learning, cooking, running, riding my bike and being outside in general. I've been learning to be okay with doing more of nothing since I graduated.
Professionally, I'm in community health care. Currently I'm an instructor with the Adaptive Yoga Project in Santa Cruz, California. We work with folks and youths with physical and mental handicaps. In the long-term, I want to open a K-12 school that integrates yoga and martial arts training into an academic curriculum.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a one-way ticket to Mexico with about $300 and survived 8 months on hard work, good fortune, and plenty of generosity I'm still paying forward.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I Can Share with Hosts
I consider myself both a good host and guest. Aside from my professional skills, I can offer help around the house or with odd jobs. I like learning new skills.
If nothing else, I can offer good conversation :)
