ABOUT ME

I am a quiet, relaxed guy. I like to be active and adventurous and I have a very strong connection with nature. I don't like feeling "stuck" in life so I tend to change what I do from time to time. I have been living in Bali for 5 years but I was looking for a change. After being in Belgium for 3 years I had the chance to move to Tromsø for the winter to chase the lights! A dream come true!

People say I am funny, sweet and trustworthy and I think they might be right :-P.

Adventure is always around the corner with me.

We are individuals taking decisions collectively that lead us to where we are. Collective change starts individualy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been travelling a lot the last 10-15 years and I would like to share my knowledge with everyone. I love to meet new people from around the world and here their story and be part of it or help it shape.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed on many couches in many countries for the past 9 years but I haven't really had to chance yet to offer a couch to travellers. Couchsurfing is probably the best thing that can happen to you when you travel. It changes the concept of being in a country. You don't feel like a tourist anymore :-)

Addicted to nature! Love the arctic cold. Photography helps me see the world in a different way. Running a lot. Snowboarding from time to time. Hiking, trekking and camping make me feel alive and help me find myself.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiked accross a glacier and camping in a forest full of bears in Alaska. Hiking Everest Base Camp, seeing orca in Alaska, Sleeping under the stars in the desert in Australia, Diving with bull sharks and tiger sharks in Fiji, Experiencing the love and generosity of couch surfers around the world. Living in Bali for 5 years. Seeing the Aurora Borealis explode above my head!

At the moment I can show you some cool spots around Tromsø and help you plan your trip a bit. I can also take you to the best spots, or tell you where they are, to see the northern lights.

I am very active so if you like to go for a run, snowshoe hike or splitboarding trip just let me know!

I don't have a car though :-). So we need to take public transport or if you rented a car I can guide you ;-)

Always up to meet for a coffee or a hangout in the city.
