Overview
About Me
I believe in building the future with intention, while fully living the present.
Born in 1977 and shaped by the values of tradition, I now work as Commercial Manager at a luxury hotel by the sea in Fortaleza, Brazil. I’m passionate about hospitality, human connection, and long conversations over a strong cup of coffee — preferably coado no pano.
When I'm not at the hotel, you’ll probably find me running by the shore, cycling at sunrise, or swimming in the open sea with my wife — we train together, dream together, and are building a life full of meaning, one project at a time.
I’m a firm believer in purpose, planning, and the joy of a well-organized life. But I also know that great things take time — and that the best way to face the future is with courage, curiosity, and a touch of good humor.
Enjoying life while the future is under construction. No rush — I brought coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe life becomes richer through genuine human connections. Couchsurfing is more than a place to stay — it’s a way to open doors, hearts, and minds.
My wife and I had the opportunity to travel through Peru (Cusco, Arequipa, and Ica), and for the first time, we were on the other side — as surfers. It was a beautiful experience. We made true friends, and those memories are now part of our story.
Back home in Brazil, we’ve hosted friends from around the world. One of my favorite moments is asking them, “Can you speak in your native language to my sons?”
To me, that’s the heart of Couchsurfing: learning, sharing, building bridges — not just between places, but between people.
I’m here because I value cultural exchange, respect, kindness, and the simple beauty of making someone feel at home.
Interests
I’m passionate about movement — in all senses of the word. I love running, cycling, swimming, canoeing, and exploring wild trails with my wife, who’s my greatest adventure partner in life.
Nature recharges me: mountains, rivers, forests, the ocean. I enjoy getting up early, feeling the wind on my face, and being reminded that simplicity is luxury.
I’m also deeply curious about people. I love good conversations, learning new things, and connecting across cultures. Whether I’m sharing a coffee, a story, or a training plan — communication and exchange are always part of my journey.
Traveling to new places, discovering different ways of living, and building friendships around the world... that’s what inspires me to keep going — one sunrise at a time.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to movies, I’m drawn to stories that explore the human spirit, the mystery of life, and the beauty of transformation. Some of my all-time favorites are *The Matrix*, *Seven Pounds*, *The Curious Case of Benjamin Button*, and *Life is Beautiful*.
I also enjoy films with subtle emotion and reflection, like *The Lake House* and *Moana* — yes, I believe animation can be deeply philosophical too.
I appreciate social and political dramas like *The Devil Wears Prada*, *The Book of Eli*, *Jango*, and *Flight* (*O Voo*) for the questions they raise about power, values, and redemption.
I’m fascinated by documentaries — especially those about **ufology, archaeology, and religions** — topics that invite us to rethink our origins and beliefs.
As for books and music, I like anything that stirs thought, emotion, and purpose. From timeless classics to modern reflections — I value content that adds something meaningful to life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My wife and I once crossed Uruguay by bike.
It may not sound like a big thing — no records, no medals — but for a couple with grown-up sons and a life already rooted like an old tree, finding the time, energy, and spirit to go on such an adventure was nothing short of incredible.
It wasn’t just about distance. It was about presence. About choosing the road, the simplicity, the challenge — together.
That journey reminded me that amazing things are not always loud or grand. Sometimes, they’re quiet, shared in two voices, with the wind on your face and a backpack full of dreams.
