I'm from Central Oregon, and a recent graduate of Oregon State University.

Currently living in Palm Springs, CA having transferred for work with the company I just got hired with.

Because in about a month I'm planning on relocating to the LA area, and Couchsurfing seems like a great way to meet people while I get on my feet.

I'm also interested in meeting new people once I get to the LA area and maximizing my experience, since I don't want to be cooped up in an apartment when I'm not working!

Including, but not limited to: Mumford and Sons, Kesha, Brand New, Lana Del Rey, The Chainsmokers, Hozier, Rihanna, Zedd, In The Valley Below, The Cranberries, The Weeknd, AWOLNATION, Halsey, Amy Winehouse, Cold War Kids, The 1975, Grimes. Basically, anything ranging from singer/songwriter, alternative, folk, EDM, oldies--I'll probably like it.

I have a deep like for movies people would say are "downers," because I appreciate a nice, deep story. Requiem for a Dream, Children of Men (all time fave), Perks of Being a Wallflower, Melancholia, Crash, Candy (another all time fave--I love me some Heath Ledger). Others include: San Andreas (love me some mindless destruction), Cloverfield, Bridesmaids, Sisters, Harry Potter and LOTR (obvi), Mysterious Skin, Miral, Pacific Rim, Gravity, Miss Congeniality (sue me), The Virgin Suicides, The Breakfast Club...and I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now.

I think graduating college and moving away from my hometown almost IMMEDIATELY after working full time and going to college full time for 5 years is pretty amazing.
