ABOUT ME
I'm from Dublin but have been hopping around France and Holland for a few years since Uni, currently on my way to England.

I work as an campaign intern in an NGO and also as life drawing model and mystery shopper.

I started out as an incredibly serious person but have become much more bohemian over the last couple of years, I feel like I've got the best of both perspectives

Finally, I'm a non smoker

PHILOSOPHY

No single philosophy sums up my beliefs, I'm a believer in environmentalism, secularism and meritocracy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't lived without house mates yet so haven't been able to host but since living in the Hague I go to the CS Meetings most weeks so have met a lot of cool people there and as a result of one meeting got to live in an old monastery for a few months!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once in the Loire Valley, it was an amazing trip with a wonderful host and once in the Hague, became great friends with they guy and we meet up every fortnight or so

I adore animals, and discussion on anthropology, theology, politics, history etc. I also love dancing, cooking and art and have quite eclectic tastes in all three.

I love travelling, particularly in history rich areas.

I like most British romcoms, especially the Bridget Jones movies,and I love the movies Amazing Grace, One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest and just too many more to list. I like the TV series PeepShow and House MD.

I love music from the sixties to the nineties and anything Disney. Some favourite artists would be Phil Collins, Diana Warwick, Aretha Franklin, Shania Twain, the Gypsy Kings, Eric Clapton etc etc

I love historical novels, Philippa Gregory is one of my favourite authors of that genre, I also love fantasy and crime novels but Nick Hornby is my absolute favourite writer
And I'm still very fond of childhood favourites like Beatrix Potter, Ramona Quimby and The Tiger Who Came To Tea

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've seen some pretty wonderful architecture and landscapes and shared some wonderful moments with people and animals but I haven't been around long enough to experience something really amazing, hopefully I'm getting closer to it

I can help with English and even some Gaelic (Irish language)if you're interested.
I have won several awards for art, particularly calligraphy so could show you something there if you like.

I'm very eager to improve my language skills and would love the chance to chat with native speakers plus learn how to make traditional cuisine!
