Get to know the world and make it better.
An ordinary guy from the oriental world (Manchuria, to be more specificly, a region falls entirely in China nowadays but has been influenced by China, Korea, Japan, Russia and Mongolia in history) I'm curious about the world and try to understand different culture. Easy to get along with, well educated, studious and humble.
I’m an electrical engineer working globally (China, Chile, Sweden, Australia, Ghana, Thailand) , current based in Melbourne for one year assignment. Living in CBD. Work a lot on week days, will be happy to meet new friends in the weekends.
Do not treat the others what you would not have them do to you. ---- Analects of Confucius
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet people from different parts of the world.
There are many websites and apps can find a cheap accommodation in a second, the reason we are here is far beyond a free couch. And I would like to give a try.
Music, Movies, and Books
Although I have interest in literature and arts, as an engineer, my job don't allow me to take too much time in movies or other entertainment. In most cases, I read technical books, such as " Offshore Wind Power" or "the Application of MATLAB in Electrical Engineering", OK, now you know how boring to be an enginner :P.
I like to watch American TV series, like "bones" during weekend. Korean movies and Thai movies are also my favorite.
You are welcome to recommend interesting music and movies of your country to me : )
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I designed the first grid-connected PV power plant in West Africa and saw how it bring smiles on children's faces.
