Hi, I'm Balint. Hungarian, been living in Madrid's La Latina neighborhood for over a year and have no plans to leave anytime soon. I spend most of my free time tracking down good specialty coffee, walking neighborhoods with no particular destination, and cooking. I'm genuinely curious about how people live — routines, food, what they think about their city — more than the tourist highlights. On Couchsurfing I'm looking for real exchange: a good conversation, a local recommendation I wouldn't find on my own, or just sharing a meal with someone interesting. I speak Hungarian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, so language is rarely a barrier. Straight guy, open to hosting or surfing with anyone here for genuine connection. IG: szabo_balint

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Because I believe in people over places. Traveling and living in new cities are exciting, but what really makes them memorable are the connections you make. I love learning about other cultures, sharing stories, and building friendships that last longer than a weekend.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I traveled to Argentina, explored the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires, and sipped Malbec, did a horseriding tour in the heart of Mendoza’s wine country. Along the way, I embraced the culture, met incredible people, and sadly did not dance (but that should change in Madrid!). It was an unforgettable blend of adventure, relaxation, and discovery.
