I knew about couch-surfing about back in the days (the year was 2011) when I went for overseas exchange in New Brunswick, Canada. I have never actively used this before and as I'm planning my first solo trip to New Zealand, I'm hoping this will be a source of inspiration for me. I'm from the tiny island of Singapore (no, sorry we are not part of China). Yes, I speak english and please don't see any yellow skinned person as someone from China. Singapore is basically like a giant concrete jungle and i'm definitely a city-girl want-to-turn into a country-girl wannabe. I love travelling.. maybe if we meet up, we can share our travel stories.
