About Me
PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST
Hi there – and thanks for stopping by!
Couchsurfing for me is about meaningful cultural exchange, mutual respect and shared values. I enjoy hosting kind, respectful people who also open their homes to others.
To avoid misunderstandings and save both of us time, please read the following carefully:
✅ I only host people who also host. If you don’t, I will decline your request automatically.
⏰ Please send your request at least 5 days in advance. I do not accept last-minute requests.
⚪ I host only one person at a time – not because of lack of space but because I prefer one-on-one conversations and getting to know someone properly. In my experience, when people travel in pairs, they usually focus on each other and that changes the dynamic.
I enjoy a more personal connection and meaningful exchange.
❌ I do not accept 1-night stays – minimum stay is 2 nights.
🌄 I get up early and don’t go out in the evenings. If you like to party or sleep in, I’m probably not the right host for you.
🚫 I don’t reply to copy-paste messages. ✨ If you mention which bridge I crossed despite my fear of heights, I’ll know you actually read my profile :)
Thanks again for reading – I hope we’re a great match!
CURRENT MISSION
Learning Mexican and Colombian Spanish. I spent 15 days in Mexico in 2024 and would love to return. Colombia and Argentina are also on my list.
ABOUT ME
I’m a friendly, energetic and outgoing person who loves traveling, walking through cities, cycling, and hiking. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and having meaningful conversations.
MY PHILOSOPHY
You must find your goals and go for them. It is important to believe in yourself, persist and be willing to work for your dreams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I host travelers and occasionally surf myself. I believe in genuine cultural exchange, not just free accommodation.
Please note: I only host people who also host.
If you don’t, please don’t send a request—I will automatically decline it.
TRAVEL TIPS FOR BUDAPEST AND HUNGARY
Public transport in Budapest:

You can also download the BudapestGO app for tickets and schedules.

I recommend spending at least 4 full days in Budapest. Most travelers stay too short and regret it.
Hungary is more than Budapest!
If you plan to travel across Hungary, you can buy the Hungary Pass, valid for 30 days. You can find it in the BudapestGO app.
Bus and train tickets can be bought at stations, from drivers, or via the MÁV mobile app.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS stay was in Copenhagen with a kind host.
Later I hosted a few people while living in a dorm and gained useful experience.
In 2013, back in Budapest, I hosted over 80 guests in five months—an amazing time!
I paused hosting in a studio flat due to snoring issues.
Since September 2023 I’ve had my own bedroom again so I’m happy to host in the living room. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I crossed the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge in Northern Ireland despite being afraid of heights. To make things worse, strong winds were shaking the bridge—so it was absolutely terrifying! But in the end, I made it across and lived to tell the tale :)
