I am BarbarosBilen. I was born in Dusseldorf Germany in 1967. I returned to Turkey after living 18 years in Germany. In 1985 I graduated from the Tourism and Hotel Management School and started to work in the Food&Beverage Department of the Club Robinson. In 2002 I left the Club Robinson as the Food & Beverage Department Manager. I first started my own business in 2002 with “Afrodit Restaurant Karaköy’’and after selling that place in 2010 I opened the Kumkapı‘’TiryakiiRestaurant’’in 2010 and is still managing the place. Lately I have opened ‘’The Pashas House’’.
Of course I can speak fluent German and English. Do not hesitate to call me for any questions.

Ich heiße Barbaros Bilen. In Düsseldorf geboren habe ich die ersten 20 Jahre meines Lebens in Deutschland verbracht. Meine Familie ging 1987 in die Türkei zurück. Dort besuchte ich eine Hotel-Fachschule und war danach lange Jahre als food & beverages Manager beim Robinson Club tätig. Danach entschloss ich mich, selbstständig zu werden und betreibe nun das Tiryakii Restaurant (siehe dazu: Reiseführer „Baedeker – Istanbul“ Ausgabe 2013 S. 99) im Fischrestaurant-Viertel von Kumkapı, also in unmittelbarer Nähe Ihrer Ferienwohnung. Ich freue mich schon darauf, Sie dort als meine Gäste begrüßen zu dürfen und Ihnen mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung zu stehen.
Selbstverständlich spreche ich immer noch fließend Deutsch. Es wird also keine Verständigungsprobleme geben.
