Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my experience from my travels in New Zealand I would like to continue meeting new people and getting to know about different countries, their habits and culture and of course sharing my experience from countries I know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy singing and started learning to play guitar during my recent travels but I am not really particur about music I listen to.

Love reading books on cold rainy days, ideally with a good cup of tea or coffe by the fire place. One of the top books I ha read would definitely be Kite runner from Khaled Hosseini and his second book Thousand of flaming suns.

My film taste is quite similar to book taste - really enjoy movies (and books) based on true stories or set in a real background. One of the films I liked the most would be The Pianist, The Last King of Scotland, 100 Days but also for example Flight over the Cockoos Nest and The Shawshank Redemption.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am probably the most glad that I had the guts to leave my comfy life - flat, good job, family friends, packed everything into a backack and went to live in New Zealand for a year. That was the best thing I have ever done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share primarily information about my home country and our culture. Ican share my experience from my travels round Europe and more distant destinations around the world (e.g. Peru, South Africa and Namibia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, United States, Indonesia, Cambodia,..).

And I also like to share traditional Czech cuisine as chatting about different culture always tastes better while enjoying some of Czech traditional meals :-)
