Why I'm on Couchsurfing
The same reason most of us are here. To save money on accommodation both giving and receiving. Time = money. The more you don't give to the hotel chains the more you can spend on travel. Then there's the added benefit of meeting locals who are the best tour guides. No one is better qualified to show you around than a person who lives there and loves their town. Most of my travels now are around Australia in my caravan so wont be looking for hosts, however happy to provide a place to stay for visitors if I'm at home. Please make sure you read everything in the You Should Know section before requesting to stay.
Music, Movies, and Books
I can enjoy just about every form of music from classic to heavy rock. Bit of a Sci fi fan, both screen and books.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Walked the Kokoda track in Papua New Guinea. Not only a personal physical goal but to experience the hardship and efforts of the soldiers that fought to preserve our freedom.
