Helloo !! My name is Bassam and I'm a 23 years old college student. I study industrial engineering in Lyon, France.

I am currently in Erasmus in Bucarest for 6 months and I want to travel around Eastern Europe ! Which means that if you’re reading this, it’s probably because I found a cheap flight to your country and I decided to go there without planning anything because I have nothing to do haha

When I travel alone, I am more looking to meet new people/locals and exchange with them than to go around all the museums in the city. Throughout my couchsurfing experiences, I've met a lot of people that have genuinely inspired me and taught me a lot of stuff ! So whenever I have the chance I take my backpack and head somewhere random !

I'm really open-minded, and not the shy kind of person as I love to exchange with people about everything. And as you have probably guessed by now, I’m also a really spontaneous person !

My philosophy in life is to always force myself to get out of my comfort zone.

I listen to a lot of different genres of Music. My playlist kind of goes from rock to classical music then heavy rock then Jazz and then Disney Songs 😂. You get the point!
But lately I’ve been more into rap and techno !

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

1. I’ve backpacked for a month alone around Europe when I was 18 and it was my best experience ever. Since then I always try to travel alone as much as possible and use CS to meet locals and new people

2. I’ve managed to stay in Crotia for two weeks without money just by hitchhiking and Couchsurfing

3. I’ve hitchhiked from Lyon to Lisboa in 3 days
