About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Surfing 🏄♂️ couches like I’m JD Vance! 😂😂
I love traveling and hanging out with fun/ funny/interesting people. Building good Karma by hosting when I can.
After visiting 115 countries I’m starting to write my travel memoir, which will include some insane travel stories. :)
Currently Living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (The amazing land of 10,000 lakes, people!)
ABOUT ME
I own a tourism company and guide for tours in over 100 countries! Check out my website here - GustoTrips.com
My biggest passion (besides being a father to an amazing little 8 year old girl) is bringing others outside of their comfort zone on international trips. This is a big passion of mine and I’m always looking for collaborators!
I was an Assistant Principal at an IB Int'l School, and had a 10 year career in teaching Social Studies, World History, Philosophy/Religion, PE, etc. athletic coach. Earned my 2nd Master's degree so I can become a principal and start my own "non-boring" school some day.
I love to laugh! Really enjoy people with a good sense of humor that are comfortable in their own skin.... It's inspiring. Sometimes I live inside my thoughts too much, but couchsurfing and traveling liberate me by encouraging me to connect to strangers in meaningful ways.
I'm pretty curious and open-minded. For the most part I'm likable (at least I like myself most of the time). Striving to live at peace with myself and others.
Love to travel with open eyes. Meet new people and gain new experiences and perspectives on life.
I started to offer affordable experiential learning excursions: http://www.gustotrips.com/

Couch, bedding, shower, maybe some laundry, a beer, maybe a dip in the outdoor hot tub in the backyard, maybe pick you up at a bus station, etc,
Reciprocating kindness is always appreciated —
Ways to do that?
1) Cook or order dinner.
2) Or bring a bottle of your favorite spirit / wine / beer
3) Offer to help out?
4) If you learn anything about MN or my travels leave a review on Google for my tourism company :)
