About Me
Reconnecting with the world…
I’m on WHV but I live and work in Yarra Valley, because I love WINE too much… 🤣

CURRECT MISSION -
Find my ikigai. Be me, be someone I want to be.
※※※※
I love travelling, travelling makes my heart smile🤗
I'm crazy about adventures, I’m up for unknown and being out of comfort zone.
I enjoy staying somewhere for a long time, long enough to feel like home, then miss it for the rest of my days when I'm back in my real home...
It's the other way of being 'homesick'🎐
I feel exactly like this about Europe.
I’m passionate about connecting with people and building long lasting friendships.
I love having different conversations as well as silent beautiful moments without each other feeling awkward.
I want to build pure friendships with guys, so pure that they can treat me like a real buddy instead of a future fuck buddy.
I want to build deep connections with girls, so we can talk about secrets and dreams, build a more beautiful new world together.
I want to laugh with the elderly, to remind them they are still pretty cool with wrinkles or silver bald head, to let them know the world is not leaving them behind.
I want to smile at babies eyes to eyes, to feel the purest emotions and joy in the most innocent human being.
I believe in equality despite genders, race, age, religions, or sex orientation.
I am a daydreamer and I believe the world can be as peaceful as the song “Imagine” described.
I'm enthusiastic about hiking. I used to see it as a life journey that I can only keep going until I arrive at the mountain top, as a mission that I can't give up.
Now I learn to enjoy more of the landscape along the way as I understand “Life is made of all these micro moments.” and those are what made us human.
That’s how I perceive hiking as living.
I want to live and feel, fully.
I want to break free.
I want to open myself up to the world.
I guess I still can't tell you about myself well... I'm just simple but complicated enough to drive people crazy😜 Hopefully you are not included🤣
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of living as a local while traveling.
Before my first solo trip to Europe, I tried to find a way to connect with local people, then here it is - my CS journey.
I think the biggest reason of me falling in love with Europe is the incredible moments I spent with people I met along the trips.
All these moments have integrated me into a different person, with a more open mind, and a more adventurous soul.
I would like to create more of these moments by -
Meeting open-minded people, building connections, and making life long friends who are willing to grow together.
Having deep conversations and sharing ideas to leave an "A-ha" in each other's mind to create values for each other.
Getting to know the local culture everywhere, getting shocked by the differences.
Going to secret places and tasting special food which is only known by locals.
Showing people around my hometown Guangzhou(Canton/The FOOD city).
Exploring Melbourne together.
Interests
Chasing sunset and sunrise at different places, climbing up for a better view.
Counting stars and waiting for shooting stars & aurora to make a wish.
Having a picnic and sharing bread with pegions, laying down on the grass and falling asleep under sunshine.
Seeing, smelling, touching and listening to everything like a curious baby.
Feeling raindrops on my hand, smelling the earth and fresh air.
Freeing my mind on a hammock.
Drenching my pillow with tears while watching movies.
Stealing fruits and chestnuts in nature.
Wine tasting in different wineries and cellars to appreciate all the differences.
Dancing like a maniac without caring about anyone in the forest.
Getting lost in the middle of nowhere and jumping into breathtaking views.
Flying like a bird singing "I believe I can touch the sky."
Opening my arms to embrace the world...🤗

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
🇦🇺 WHV for 2 years, hoping to see everything but ending up staying:
- I spent 7 months in Tasmania and it wasn’t enough… The landscape made me feel like I’m in the edge of the world, the hikes were so beautiful.
- I work in a winery in Victoria, I enjoy it so much that I decided not to leave. It’s the closest time to my dream job though I still prefer retire early🤪
- I had a road trip to South Australia, Kangaroo Island and Flinders Ranges and all the wines were the biggest highlights.
💙From 2015 to 2023, 8 times, 367 days in total. I traveled to Europe alone from China:
- I lost my way in the middle of the night in Stockholm, going to meet a host without Internet. A taxi stopped and 2 guys invited me in, they said "This is Sweden. We help each other."
I fell in love with Europe right away, along with the kindness of Europeans.
All the way to the North, I saw the amazing Dancing Aurora(Northern light). Freezing and crying at the same time.
- My host from Copenhagen took me to a music festival with an actual couch on his MEGA bike, the next day we went out again on bike, but with water in it, what can be even more fun than having a bike pool!
I did TMB(Tour du Mont Blanc) trekking from Les Houches, France to Courmoyeur, Italy for 4 days. I got a 68-year-old French man who I met on blablacar barely speaks English as accompany because he thought it would be too dangerous for me to hike alone. Well... he ended up being my French grandpa and showed me around Provence👴
- I went back to France again and again, just to visit mon papi, that's how I learned un peu de français🇫🇷
Along the way, I also learned how to bike 🚴, and how to drink🍷...
💚Travelled in Asia with friends:
- Went to Indonesia for volcanos and islands.
Watched sunrise from Bromo.
Hiked from 2 am to 7 am to see blue flames and volcano lake in Ijen.
Shared a private boat with 2 friends, hopping from island to island, lying down under stars, accomplished many firsts.
- A free helicopter tour to Aanapurna base camp in Nepal, which couldn't stop my urge to go trekking.
Ended up trekking in Poonhill.
Arrived at the sunrise point view crying and listening to "O Helga Natt".
Time by time, I feel myself growing gradually while traveling, from panic to calm, from being upset with myself because of changing plans to letting myself go with the flow. Each trip is a brand new game I create for myself to start anew and nothing beats the excitement of always learning.
Teach, Learn, Share
Some see the world through their own eyes, while some others see it through someone else’s eyes. So let’s narrow down the world with hugs and connections and let’s expand our horizons through each other.
- I can teach you Cantonese and Mandarin😉
(Most people think Chinese is the most difficult language in the world... So are you up for a challenge? Despite the fact that we don't share the same type of writing, we pronounce with tones too! There are 4 tones in Mandarin and 9 in Cantonese!! Let's... start from Yi(1)? 🤓)
- I definitely love the idea of sharing travel stories and laughing together🤣
(The weirder, the funnier, the better! Can't wait to listen to your stories and picture them in my head like movies!)
- Cultural exchange is absolutely on the list!
(I know Chinese sounds scary thanks to legends😅 I'm gonna break the rumours if you don't feel awkward to ask as I won't feel ashamed to answer either😜)
- In the end, I wish I could share some homemade dish with you one day... (As you can see in my album - Hellmade food)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything about China or places I've been to -
🇨🇳🇰🇷🇻🇳🇳🇵🇪🇺🇩🇪🇩🇰🇫🇷🇮🇹🇮🇩🇵🇭🇬🇪🇦🇺
The differences between Europe and China through my eyes, such as cultures, traditions, cuisines and nature.
The differences between Westerners and Chinese, such as manners, behaviours, ways of thinking and communication.
I wish I could tell you about the amazing history of China, unfortunately, I don't know any dynasties nor Kings... I suck at history😩
But well... At least I can show you how China is now:) I am pretty sure you will be amazed by how different from what you ever thought😎
Then...
Nevertheless, my biggggg smiles and me🤣
