ABOUT ME

We are a couple with a daughter living in North York, ON, Canada. We love music, especially Iranian traditional music. I am the father of the family and my name is Mehdi (Nickname is Behzad). I play three Iranian instruments such as Tar, Setar, and Nei quite well and my wife used to play Setar as well. I am an office worker and do some business in my free time. Zahra is a Ph.D. student in Applied Linguistics and she is teaching English in a language college in downtown Toronto. She is also a great cook who can make the best Iranian cuisine with the simplest materials. We have traveled to several countries where we have stayed in hotels, but we would like to meet different kinds of people through CS. About our personality, first, we should say we are nice to everyone because we do believe that all people are nice so we should treat them nice. Our friends are very important in our life, so we have always made our best to find good friends and hang out with them now and then. We try to keep to the schedule but we know that sometimes being spontaneous makes life tasty. We consider ourselves as open-minded guys, however, we try to improve our world view and every other ideology about our life.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We have been looking for a safe and cheap way to know about the other cultures and couch surfing helps us to open a window to new cultures and new relationships with making connections between people from all over the world.
This is our best reason to be a member of couch surfing.

Intereses

We like visiting new people from different cultures and world views. We like to be energetic and fresh and so hate just sleeping and being a couch potato. Hence on weekends or holidays, we go to picnics, sightseeing, and, cinema, etc.

Música, películas y libros

We play Iranian traditional music. In addition, we like mild music and are interested in listening and knowing about traditional music of all countries.
Western and comic movies are our favorites.
