I'm a social communication professor, Argentinian, and an immigrant. I've been living in Spain for five years, with stays of a few months in Italy and Mexico. I recently moved to a community in the province of Almería, where I live with 30 other people.

I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Migration Studies, which involves a lot of travel and collaborations with various universities and social organizations. My next plan is to travel to the United States to do volunteer work and improve my English.

I really enjoy traveling. I love the feeling of being in a completely unfamiliar place because I know that each day will offer a pleasant surprise and new people to meet.

Soy un profesor de comunicación social, argentino y migrante. Vivo hace cinco años en España, con estancias de algunos meses en Italia y México. Recientemente me he mudado a una comunidad en la provincia de Almería, donde convivo con otras 30 personas.

Estoy haciendo un Doctorado en Estudios Migratorios y en este marco viajo mucho, realizando colaboraciones con diferentes universidades y organizaciones sociales. Mi próximo plan es viajar a Estados Unidos y poder hacer trabajo voluntario allí, y también mejorar mi inglés.

Disfruto mucho viajando, me gusta la sensación de estar en un lugar completamente desconocido para mí, porque sé que cada día me ofrecerá una buena sorpresa y gente nueva por conocer.

I'm part of Couchsurfing because it's the best way to travel and meet amazing people and learn about their cultures. Plus, the day I stop traveling, I'd love to host guests in my own home. I love all the interaction that happens: the trust, the conversations, the outings, the spontaneous plans, and so much more.

Interests

I'm interested in getting to know places through their people, participating in their daily activities, and not just visiting tourist sites. Above all, I love wandering aimlessly, cycling, and going out to eat. Visiting local markets and antiquarian bookstores is a must on my trips. My travels are always driven by a desire to learn new things.

Me interesa conocer los lugares a través de su gente, participando en sus actividades cotidianas y no sólo recorriendo los sitios turísticos. Por sobre todas las cosas me encanta caminar sin rumbo, o moverme en bicicleta y salir a comer. Una cita obligada en mis viajes son los mercados populares y las librerías antiguas. Mis viajes siempre están motivados por las ganas de aprender cosas nuevas.

I'm an electromechanical technician, and I like to do repairs myself at home. That's why I can do a little bit of everything, and I wouldn't mind helping you with any repairs around your house. I can also teach you basic steps to some traditional Argentine dances, like the tango and the chacarera.

Soy técnico electromecánico y en mi propia casa me gusta encargarme de los arreglos. Es por eso que sé hacer un poco de todo y no me molestaría ayudarte con cualquier reparación en tu casa. También puedo enseñar pasos básicos de algunos bailes argentinos tradicionales, como el tango y la Chacarita.
