CURRENT MISSION study music ABOUT ME Currently a student for opera singing, music writing (working on bach fugues haa haa) and choir conducting. Very passionate about music and singing in particular. I also work, conducting 2 choirs in Nantes, and giving english lessons (I lived 10 years in Reading near London when I was a kid). I also like folk music, playing guitar, and i try to write songs in french which is haaaard! but am happy with some songs... In my spare time, I like going out meeting people. And walking in the countryside when it's not raining, which isn't often in Nantes. Like Movies and music concerts. And I'm learning Italian, and plan on going to Italy soon. PHILOSOPHY Basically, all there is is this, and what can we do about something that is already happening? All there is is energy, and our life story is just a story, like a play.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I love meeting people from different places and helping them feel at home. Am very welcoming and easy going. Love sharing games, music, stories. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Not much experience yet, traveled around a bit though, lived in Chili 3 months with a lovely host family. Lived 5 months in Mexico in a student exchange. Lived 2 months in Nepal, working in tea gardens, to try and import Nepal tea to France using fair trade. I loved seeing how people lived in these different places, helps get perspective, and open mindedness.

My Interests
Especially music, but am curious about things I don't know, things that surprise me. Very interested in well being, psychology, spirituality, creativity. Thinking about starting Yoga, good for body. Interested in theater, acting.
