About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a 25 year old frenchie who loves music, coffee and talking, preferably not to myself. And as a frenchie, I am mandated to love wine, cheese, and to enjoy a good baguette, my beret firmly resting on my head.

I play a lot of music. I play the flute, and at one point tried to start electric guitar. It is still resting on its stand in my apartment, waiting for me to pick it up, looking at me. I should...
I've played the flute for more than 15 years, playing mostly classical music, but also jazz and more experimental contemporary music. I love playing music, and I'm definitively ready to play something with you, to have you teach me guitar or me teach you the flute.

I go to quite a lot of concerts, with a fairly wide spectrum. I can go to a metal concert a day, and to a classical music one the next. I love many different styles, from electronic music to metal, classical music, experimental contemporary music, jazz, rock,...
And I love sitting in a chair with nice people, discovering nice music while drinking a fine whisky. I guess that makes me look old.

I studied math and engineering, so I spend most of my weekdays typing stuff into a computer, more specifically writing programs that simulate acoustic vibrations. This is unfortunately mostly used to simulate noise, to make planes quieter. In fact, I'm finishing my PhD about just that. So if you like that or just want to hear scary stories about planes, ask me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had several great experiences of couch surfing, even though my profile is fairly recent.
I surfed in Los Angeles, Venice Beach (CA) and Davis (CA) with a friend, and always had a good time and a good laugh.

My roommate hosted quite a few people in Paris in 2008-2009, and it was nice to spend time with couchsurfers and show them places we love in Paris.
