CURRENT MISSION My current mission is to have fun, be open, and explore while meeting some great people ABOUT ME I am an American living in Girona, Spain and working as an English teacher. I really like learning languages and am really loving Spain. I like to play the piano, drink beers with friends, speak Russian, and sometimes I enjoy being incredibly lazy...in my bed...for many hours...watching movies or tv shows. My friends might say I am a lot of fun, funny, sometimes weird, but super genuine when it comes down to it. I am good, supportive friend who cares a lot about my friends endeavors. Hmmm, what else? I do not know, write me! Lets hang out and talk about life.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am willing to host you, cook you a Spanish tortilla (or try), take you out for the local food, and show you some cool spots in Girona for hiking and hanging out. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My girlfriend and couchsurfed a bit while traveling around Russia. We've hosted some people in Girona as well.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like some old french films in black and white. I like David Lynch. I like David Foster Wallace and some other classic writers. I like to watch pretty much any decent TV show.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Standing on top of Half-Dome. Having a three hour conversation with a Jehovas Witness in a forest around a fire. Watching Martina Filjak play the piano.

My Interests
Exploring the city late at night when only the left-overs are out and the city is quiet. Stumbling across new people and new conversations in cafes. I like to find things that I think will embarrass me and do them. I like to play the piano and watch great movies. Sometimes I break out into dance.
