About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep rolling until my edges wear off

ABOUT ME

I like to try and see new everything. This little rock of ours is a pretty phenomenal place and I have barely scratched the surface. I work to play and to further my dream of one day creating a self sustaining home in the country

PHILOSOPHY

Open your mind wider every day and breathe it all in

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have limited official couch surfing experience, but would like to expand that. I have been travelling the world off and on for many years, and have stayed on many couches, and had many visitors in my home as well, and would like to expand that to the CS community.

From sleeping on the floor in a corner to getting a whole house right on the beach in return for English and business panning lessons, I am a big fan of all levels of "couch". I have had the luck to find the most interesting, welcoming, and fascinating people while travelling and love how much Couchsurfing facilitates that

Interests

Travel, music, design, guitar, carpentry, machining, sculpture, (anything that lets me turn raw material into form) travel, beer and brewing, Cruisers, camping, hiking, SCUBA, travel, sailing, architecture, photography, marbles and the loss of them; Ahhh...it all

Music, Movies, and Books

Maybe I am lazy, but I really don't even know where to begin; everything. The blues, electronica of all types, funk and all the blending of everything with funk nowadays. Sci-fi

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a lobster fishing boat in Mexico it was raining so hard that it muted all smaller waves and I saw how incredibly massive the underlying waves of the ocean really are.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wouldn't say I am a pro at any one thing, but I can make a mean omlet. I am an experienced design engineer and can fix almost anything too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to discuss the world and culture and art and architecture and the future and the past.
