Check out my (old) CS "About Me":
...mean couchsurfing remakings, however, deleted most of the bullshit I tediously amassed during 6 years of CS membership. Shame on you CS.
Trade my A4 sheet of paper for an Audi of the same type.
Yepp, I'm German; I gonna give you a few moments so that you can mentally browse thru all the stereotypes you now have.
Done? Good, let's get on:
I love Juicy Fruit chewing gum; I like to sip Cherry Cokes, Mint Juleps & Old Fashioneds, and nibble on beef steaks. Climb mountains, break the sound barrier on my race bike and stroll around pretty much anywhere. I read excessive amounts & I have this odd obsession about equity risk premiums & other weird capital markets' stuff; i was born like this :)
Previously, I lived&worked in Lima and Toronto; and back home in Germany. I lived 20+ years in zee Vaterland, so it was time to get out of zerre...currently I work in Salzburg / expat wherever one of our subsidiaries needs my advice, recently that's in Hungary. Yepp, that´s it in a nutshell. M'kay?
Oh, did you know: 111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321
Furthermore, I'm a good procrastinator. But I will tell you more about that later.
& I still owe some 70ish references to my ex guests. It shall be done! Soon.
Make sure the juice is worth the squeeze.
"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where –" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i will dip you into hershey's and then eat you.
you'll see, i'm a fucking awesome dude.
Outdoors: I enjoy hiking in snowstorms, mountaineering (yeah, I'm from the Alps), travelling around, road cycling, longboarding & backcountry snowboarding... ski lifts are for pussies.
Other: reading, business analysis & small cap distressed investing.
In the pipeline for upcoming travels:
-Argentina & Brazil during December 2016
-Falkland Islands & Antarctica in January/February 2017.
Yepp, Antarctica. Pretty fucking awesome, right?
Music, Movies, and Books
something to watch: BBC Planet Earth, Baraka (& all other Ron Fricke movies), Band of Brothers, Yes Minister, Man of the Year, Thank You for Smoking, The Shawshank Redemption, Stranger Than Fiction, Fight Club.
and listen to: Borodin, Prokofiev, Grieg, Chopin, Fatboy Slim & Chemical Brothers and a buttload of rock bands who are fucking cool as hell. e.g. Wolfmother
reading: i studied at two of the world's best universities, nevertheless, I got way better education elsewhere & for free. i.e.: farnamstreetblog.com; project-syndicate.org; public libraries & research portals. I guess nothing beats a combination of a curious mind and a few loaded bookshelves.
So, yeah. I wind up reading tons, and all kinds of stuff. Sexy corporate annual reports, F-10K's &Q's, car manuals if i'm sitting in a car, instructions on the barf bag while on a plane. I am very much interested in everything. But mostly about companies and their fuck-ups & Peter Drucker`s writings, Kahneman/Tversky, Kafka, Dostoyevsky, Hemingway, Camus, Ayn Rand & lot of other cool shit.
Honestly, so far I have met zero smart people, who did not read lavish amounts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Avalanches in the alps, giant glaciers in Iceland and Greenland, cubic-mile icebergs in the northern arctic circle, earthquakes in Peru, arctic sunsets, lightning storms/supercells, arctic snowstorms. apparently I am impressed by natural phenomena.
Broke into the Vatican Gardens & was hunted down by a dozen Swiss guards.
One night I had that dream of eating a giant marshmallow, the next morning my pillow was gone.

lots of other rather useless fun crap
Furthermore, I can teach you how to play John Cage's 4'33" composition on piano (or, for that matter, on any other instrument):
What I Can Share with Hosts
Mi casa es tu casa.
