About Me

CURRENT MISSION

my mission is to meet as many cool new people in cool new places as possible

ABOUT ME

Hello, If you were to ask my friends about me they would probably tell you I am kind, generous, silly, adventurous, and a little nuts...and they are probably right!

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted, surfed and traveled and have enjoyed every minute of it. Couchsurfing has introduced me to some of the most amazing people I've ever met. It's a shame not everyone understands.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Brazil, New Zealand, and Australia, I've hosted in Hollywood, and have traveled with fellow CSers in NZ's south island and all over SE Asia.

Interests

I enjoy meeting new people, having new adventures, traveling, and helping others, that is why I joined the Peace Corps.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My biggest accomplishment would be completing the Way of Saint James, also known as the Camino de Santiago. It's a pilgrimage; I started in France and walked 500 miles through northern Spain in 42 days!!! By far this was the best experience of my life, I met amazing people from all over the world. Some people would say arriving to the cathedral in Santiago would be that "wow" moment but for me it was the night before, you see, I stayed in the shelter 4KM outside of Santiago after walking over 35KM that day all so I could attend the pilgrims mass with two friends who were forced to speed up. To my surprise when I arrived to that shelter, I came across another brother. When we went to get dinner, we had to walk down some stairs and we could see the lights from Santiago. At that moment I forgot about how tired I was and I felt absolutely jubilant - words can't really describe it.

Recently I embarked on five months of travel alone starting in Brazil and ending in Thailand. Given all of the negative feedback, I was slightly concerned but the entire trip was full of great people and experiences.
