I have also lived in Montreal, New York City, Toronto, Kansas City. I am self employed working from home. I set my own schedule so I am available to hang out nearly any time and with little notice. Completely flexible. I have Multiple Sclerosis, la sclérose en plaques, and walk with a cane or use a mobility scooter for distances but I don't let it define me and try to keep it from limiting my activities.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting surfers and showing a little something not in the guidebooks. I split my time between Montreal and Manhattan. When I am living in Manhattan I can be your Manhattan guide, particularly Central Park, Midtown, Greenwich Village. I also have a membership to MoMA and can bring up to two guests for free. I can host at my Montreal condo but it is a couch in a common area and not private. One shared washroom. The only bedroom is an alcove. I am very happy to show you around my neighbourhood, which is in The Plateau around the intersection of St Denis and rue Sherbrooke. I have an outstanding view of the entire city from my rooftop patio 360°. The Cat Cafe or Randolph's Game Pub are favourites. Nearby parks are Square St Louis and Parc laFontaine. I also have a membership to The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts / Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal. I am allowed one free guest to any and all exhibits so let me know if you find yourself in the city on a rainy day and I can meet you there. https://www.mbam.qc.ca/en/ I am located just steps away from Gare d'autocars de Montréal (English: Montreal Coach Terminal). If your arrival/departure times do not match your check out times you can store your bag at my place for a few hours and I can join you for a coffee or bagel at the corner. I consider myself a traveller of sorts and love exchanging stories with you over a coffee or at a park bench.
Music, Movies, and Books
Eclectic but especially acoustic and folk. Another passion is Northern Soul. I have a music blog at Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CoverVersionOfTheDay/
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Watched the ball drop for New Year's Eve from a penthouse (not mine) overlooking Times Square
Teach, Learn, Share
