Meet people, see places.
I'm very friendly and easygoing. I'm a bit quiet at first, but I'm very open. I love to meet people.
I quit my previous job in September 2008 and have been traveling ever since. I spent 9 months traveling all over Central America and a month sailing from Mexico to South Carolina. Now I have a new job which I can do entirely over the Internet and I intend to take full advantage of the flexibility by being a full-time couchsurfer for the next several months/years.
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and lived there most of my life. I went to the Ohio State University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science. Following that, I spend several years working for a small company that specializes in Information Security and Computer Forensics. We helped medium and large companies, including banks, hospitals, insurance companies, and major retailers, protect your privacy, reduce fraud, and ensure the integrity of your financial transactions. We also worked with attorneys and the court to gather, interpret, and evaluate computer evidence, and provide expert testimony about it. I've helped catch bad guys, get felony charges dropped for good guys, and made the world a little safer. In my field, integrity is very important, and I feel the same way about my personal life.
I live for the moment, but plan for the future. I don't take things too seriously. I am spontaneous and adventurous. I'm easygoing and laid-back. I'm passionate about what I care about, and don't sweat the rest. People are important to me. I can be too quiet on occasion, but I get real pleasure from meeting people, learning about them, and listening to what they have to say.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've also met couchsurfers in Zurich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Dortmund, London, Utila, Antigua, Cancun, Merida, Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Bariloche, Concepción, Santiago, Oklahoma City and several other cities. I've hosted eight people so far and I am eager to host more once I have a permanent residence again. :)
