About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To love, laugh, and play some guitar.
ABOUT ME
My friends would likely to describe me as a pretty easygoing, warm, and funny guy. I have been doing couch surfing for some time and even had the pleasure of meeting the creator himself!
PHILOSOPHY
I honestly believe that the golden rule rings all too true. I think life is too short to be strangers and I really enjoy meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the program and now have a growing number of friends to go visit in Europe. I was lucky enough to use the program on my last visit to New York and I have had only amazing experiences both hosting and surfing. I took a minor break when I first moved to the bay area due to roommates not being into the idea but now have my own place and am ready to host again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far only positive and worthwhile experiences. It requires a special type of person to be able to visit and host complete strangers and become friends.
Interests
I love good music, good food, and good conversations. I really enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places and getting to take In different cultures and communities. Not much of a crazy party person, but I would be lying if I said I didn't like to put a few back from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books
love all kinds of movies (aside from horror, I'm a big softie) I really enjoy Indie, reggae, and folk music as well as some good ol fashioned rock and roll. I mainly just read history and current events books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been truly blessed In my life to be able to travel to a number of countries and see amazing things. The first time I saw the pyramid of Giza had me absolutely floored. Growing up in Yosemite was something I wouldn't trade for anything and living here in California just reminds me of how truly lucky I am.
Teach, Learn, Share
Although I'm not pompous I believe I have a bit of knowledge and philosophy to share. I'm also happy to learn and listen. After 2 years I think I have a pretty good grip on the bay area and can help point people in the right direction.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to share my space and point of view. I will also gladly donate my time to show people around if I'm not working. Couchsurfing is always a fun excuse to be a tourist in my own city :)
