I grew up in Bulgaria but I have lived in the US, France, Italy and Wales while studying. I returned to Bulgaria a couple of years ago to enrol in the Sofia Conservatory and study opera singing, which has always been a dream that I am finally entirely devoted to. I hope to be able to travel around through singing and to experience new cultures while doing what I love most.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have met quite a few couch surfers while travelling and living abroad, but I have never joined as I haven't had the opportunity to offer a couch myself. I still don't have a place to offer myself as I currently live in a small apartment with my father and grandma, but I have welcomed a few couch surfers together with my boyfriend at his place and I have enjoyed it very much. I have finally decided it is high time that I create my own profile and venture into couch surfing myself!

兴趣

Naturally, I love singing and performing, even though in real life I can be sometimes quite shy. I love theatre, both watching plays and acting myself. I go swimming several times a week. I started Argentine Tango classes over a year ago. I love going on walks in nature and I crave a lot being around water - seas, oceans, rivers, lakes, waterfalls...anything will do!

I listen to classical music a lot, because it's both a passion and a profession. I also love listening to French and Italian music, both pop and old classics, and I love tango music in all forms and arrangements.

The summer after I graduated from university in the US I spent several months volunteering at a YMCA camp in Oahu, Hawaii. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been to, a real paradise on earth. I taught rock climbing, swimming, hiking, archery and arts and crafts to children and families and I absolutely loved every single second of it!

I guess now that I have my official Opera Singing Diploma, I can try to teach singing to others. I am also good with languages and speak a few, but I am still eager to learn more and practice the ones I know.
