ABOUT ME

My partner and I of 5 years just moved back to Seattle after a 1.5 yr road trip. I'm a boat guy, he's a he's in public health research. We try to adventure as much as possible and make the best out of any situation . I love animals/ wildlife and I also love to learn and experience different cultures. Our dog is our baby, deal with it. Family and friends are the most important. I think culture exchange is the best part of this site.

I think people are generally good... You just have to find a way to relate. Tolerance is always a good lesson to learn and teach.

I've been missing in action, I just rejoined 06/5/2024. Just in time for Seattle Pride! (Trying to edit my profile a bit for it to be accurate to my life now, without starting completely over. I started this profile nearly 15 yrs ago, so lots of it was young me) I hope to venture out more and meet some honest souls and swap stories and jokes... and maybe some vodka. I have been fortunate to have couch surfed with others when I didn't have one to offer, now that I do again, I want to pay it forward. Especially since Seattle is expensive. Ive also really enjoyed the exchange with the people I've met here.

Musica, film e libri

I'm more into non fiction... I think I have ADD, so it has to be something I find interesting, or I forget to keep reading. Can take me longer than the average reader. As far as movies, I like anything not too long. Music is my escape... I love all types of music, (yes, even country) and like to browse though others playlist to discover new songs... and after a few drinks, I may even dance.

I've always traveled alone and made lifelong friends along the way. I hiked mountains into ice caves. I've flown in a helicopter onto an ice field to trek. I've had close encounters with humpback whales, orcas, black bears, brown bears, porcupines, porpoise, dolphins, puffins, Bald Eagles, Sea Lions and harbor Seals and moose! I've seen the rare and elusive wolverine. I've lived inside a national park... lived in Alaska, NYC, Galveston TX, and now Seattle Wa... Portland Maine, and now back in Seattle

I don't know what I can teach, maybe random animal facts... always open to learning something new... and can share my place, a meal, and maybe a beer. (I respect others' sobriety)
