ABOUT ME

I'm a French engineer who wasn't interested in travelling until my studies forced me to work 3 month in Ireland in 2002. Since, I went back to Ireland where I lived 3 years and a half and travelled all over the country...
Now, I continue my tour by working in Belgium for the last 8 years... travelling and meeting people from everywhere became a huge part of my time !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend brought me in a CS party in Dublin in July08 that's how everything started. I really like travelling and meeting new people & cultures so I would be glad to help anybody if I can.
I hosted a bit and have been hosted too but I also helped couchsurfers as I can... like teaching to drive in Ireland with my right hand wheel car for exemple :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I got my flat in Brussels in 2009, I tried to host once a month.
Unfortunately, due to lots of travels for my job between 2011 & 2013 with floating dates, my CSing went down a lot... I also got married in 2016 and moved not far from Brussels in 2017 to get a larger house

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

*Going abroad to live and learning english were big challenges to me.
*I will never forget the seafood BBQ on a Caribbean beach under the coconut trees with my family and the beautiful sundown when I was 17.
*Being at Gandhi temple in extreme south of India on 2nd of October at 12h00
*Honeymoon in Bali with my great wife :)
*CSing is already something amazing !

My parents use to say I know better Ireland than I know my owm little town in France.
I've travelled pretty much all over Ireland and spent nearly 2 years sharing a house with a great Irish guy who had a master in European history (mostly about Ireland) and who was a great teacher.
So I would enjoy to share this knoweldge... for the bits I can remember :)
Otherwise... I know Belgium quite a bit but I still have a lot to discover... let's do it together ;)
