About Me

You'll probably find me
singing and dancing
on the street with
my headphones on.
愛❣

-outgoing, sociable, funny at parties
-contemplative, thoughtful, absorbing on my own
-love challenges, discovering, the unexpectable. Always

I have a smile for everyone.. If they respect me. I hardly tolerate impositions of any kind.

I genuinely enjoy constructive discussions, I don't appreciate shouting over each other.
Let's talk.

I seek a balance between thoughts and senses. Trust your guts, your instinct.
Go for it, enjoy and take the best from life, let the magic happen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Quite an independent and self-sufficient traveller that doesn't mind to explore new places alone.

I would like to know anything about your culture, folklore, tradition. And to find out those "special little places" that only locals know (=the opposite of turistic).

Interests

Pretty much the eclectic type. Music, though, is the main interest that defines me.

A dandy globetrotter exploring people, architecture, details and senses.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to new sounds, but I don't dislike all mainstream music. By now I have a couple of bands and an electro-music project.

Movies: C. Nolan, R.Linklater, D.Aronofsky, W.Anderson, Q.Tarantino.. for example.

Some books: Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo, The Rotters' Club , Un uomo, Crime and Punishment , The Picture of Dorian Gray, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, The Devil in the Flesh, Catcher in the rye, High Fidelity, La neve se ne frega, Kafka on the shore, Se questo è un uomo, La coscienza di Zeno, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Love in the Time of Cholera, The great Gatsby, Ti prendo e ti porto via, Siddharta, The art of loving, Jonathan Livingston seagull, The old man and the sea, The little prince, White teeth.
Some authors: Paulo Coelho, George Orwell, Alessandro Baricco, Andrea De Carlo, Charles Bukovski, Enrico Brizzi

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking from Latvia to Italy in ten days, surviving pretty decently the trip though I didn't have a place to stay for a couple of nights, and lost my wallet in Slovakia - which gave me enough motivation to busk lots of money back. Taking an instrument with you is always a great idea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of playing music (guitar, bass, voice, drums, keys, theory, songwriting, djing..)
How and why to appreciate different kind of music.
Using a reflex camera, editing digitally video and audio material.
I can also check your computer, improve it and clean it a bit up!

I'm pretty excited about learning anything new: just tell me everything about it, now.
Learning local languages and phrases.

Share with me your crazy ideas, we'll have fun!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If there is an instrument at disposal, I can surely play you dozens of cover songs with a guitar or a piano. I even accept requests and singalongs. If you sing or play an instrument at any level - that's awesome! Let's forget shyness and start a jam session together.

As an italian, I'm genetically predisposed to cook, and together it is even more fun.

I can tell you some incredible tales, but I also enjoy listening.
