About Me

Hi beautiful people of couchsurfing!🌍
My name is Bram, I am a 23 year old linguistics student living in the Netherlands. I always loved travelling, and since I found out about CS my perspective of travelling changed. Its not about the location you visit, but about the company around you. I love learning about local cuisine, culture, travel stories and ofcourse language!
Can't wait to meet all of you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because it is the best way to travel in my opinion. Staying with a local gives you a better understanding of the place you are staying in, and gets you the most real, and geruine experience. After using couchsurfing a lot while traveling I want to return the favour and host people to meet people and help people out if they need it!

Interests

Nothing makes me happier than learning new stuff about other cultures, languages, and cuisines. I love sharing my experiences, and especially learning about others!
A walk around the city, seeing the local spots, but also hiking in nature.

I love to make music, I just started playing the guitar, and I like singing :)

Another thing I really like is making good food, nothing better than chatting and snacking while preparing a great meal.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love folk, blues and country music! The book that inspired me the most was: The Alchemist~Paulo Coelho. I can also recommend Stephan Orth's books about couchsurfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its the little things in life that make the most amazing memories, like playing guitar with a mate in a random bar in a suburb of Belgrade or singing Hallelujah in the sun to a bunch of local Bulgarians at the Kapinovo waterfalls.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to cook together, tell you about Dutch culture cuisine and history, and help you out with whatever tasks you are busy with. Of course in exchange I can show you around if you come to The Netherlands

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to help with cooking, tell you about Dutch culture and cuisine, and show you around if you come to The Netherlands. I would love to have a nice chat about life, travels, culture and whatever comes up, and if needed I can give you a hand around the house.
