About Me
Hi! I’m Brandon—newly out, newly single, and finally exploring life the way I’ve always wanted to. I’m a dad of three amazing kids and a curious, adventurous soul who started my Couch Surfing journey on a 20-day solo road trip through the West in July 2025.
I travelled from Tulsa through Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, LA, San Diego, Austin, and more—camping or couchsurfing along the way. My goal? Was to find the best gay clubs, festivals, hikes, live music, and real human connection in each city. I met amazing people all along the way and will never forget this journey experience, all thanks to this amazing community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to meet people with open hearts, curious minds, and stories worth sharing. I want to see the country through locals’ eyes—not just the guidebooks—and leave each place a little richer for having been there.
Interests
I’m all about movement, music, and meaning. I love dancing, hiking, kayaking, camping, and anything that gets me outdoors and away from the screen. I’m also a big fan of working out, road-tripping, boating, and finding great views—bonus points if there’s a good playlist involved.
Music is a huge part of my life (listening, singing, playing piano), and I’m always up for discovering new artists or sharing favorites. I’m especially drawn to pop, dance, some country, and ‘80s/’90s throwbacks.
Since coming out, I’ve been exploring gay clubs, festivals, and queer spaces where people can be fully themselves. I’m still learning how to have fun just for the sake of it—and this journey is part of that.
More than anything, I love meeting people who are open, thoughtful, and maybe a little wild—in the best way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I’m all about pop, dance, a little country, jazz, and anything from the ’80s/’90s.
Movies: Give me thrillers, rom-coms, or something a little gay and campy—I’m in.
Books: Honestly, I don’t read as much as I want to—but I love hearing what others are into.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran a ropes course for 18 months, helping people of all ages push their limits—especially youth facing big challenges. Watching someone conquer fear? Nothing like it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love showing people the hidden gems around Tulsa—think local food, dive bars, hiking trails, and live music. I’m always down to trade playlists, cook a simple meal, or go on a spontaneous adventure.
What I love most is learning what lights other people up—whether it’s your passion, your culture, or your favorite taco spot.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m easygoing, respectful, and genuinely grateful for any space I’m offered. I travel light but bring good conversation, curiosity, and a sense of humor wherever I go. I’m happy to cook a meal (or at least do the dishes), share road trip stories, recommend music, or even play a song or two on the piano if there’s one nearby.
I know how to give people space, but I also love connecting deeply if the moment’s right. I’m happy to join you for a hike, a gym session, a drink, or a spontaneous adventure—or just unwind and keep it chill. You won’t have to entertain me, but if you want to, I’m all in.
