Heeyyy! My name is Breanna but you can call me Lotus! I am a professional dancer and swim coach living in the United States.

I currently reside in the small city of Knoxville, TN but travel around quite a bit for both swim meets and dance events. I LOVE dancing and more specifically Brazilian Zouk! It is my love and passion but I also dance salsa, bachata, t ango, and west coast swing, just to name a few.
Dancing has brought out the best of myself and the beauty of this world we live in. I love to go on adventures and always trying new things. I'm a very care free and go with the flow kind of person, because our time on this planet is to special to waste our energy on negativity.

I'm known for my bubbly personality and always having a smile on my face. I'm also known as being a very caring person who loves to inspire those around me. Teaching and giving my knowledge to others helps me learn and grow as well and I absolutely love it.

Viewing the scenery on the planet is a favorite thing of mine. As well as the color purple! Get me around or in water and I'm in one of my natural elements. Reading books, exercising, learning languages and about culture, music, and movies are some other things I enjoy. I also love deep conversations and keeping my brain active. The moment we stop learning is when our brain starts to become inactive.

There's so much more to know but I hope you can experience it for yourself. I also LOVE connecting with people, which is probably why I love dance :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

 I'm finally at a point in my life to start travelling the world and am excited to do so! Dance is taking me all over and meeting new friends is something I cherish. I hope to soon be able to have a home to open to everyone as well. But I'm ready to see the world and what better way than natives who live there?!

I love all kinds of music except heavy metal, not a big fan when people scream to sing.

I love action, disney, and romance movies and some favorites are Grease, Interstellar, Now You See Me, and all action movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent two weeks with my dad and brother at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in 2015. It was one of the best vacations and experiences of my life so far. Being so open and free riding a motorcycle and viewing the scenery was wonderful. I met some awesome people and have some fond memories from the trip. Especially having to cart my brother on the back of my bike, who is 20, bigger, and taller than me ;-)

I also swam in the 2008 US Olympic Trials for swimming. Such an experience!
