About Me
So fortunate to be living in such a beautiful part of our amazing planet and I’m willing to share it with like minded travellers. When I’m not home in the hilltop forested town of Dwellingup growing food, I’m a traveller seeking adventure and meeting interesting people. I practice Vipassana meditation and regularly sit 10 day courses. I read an eclectic array of books. I enjoy housesitting in foreign countries. Gardening and cooking are two skills I excel at.
I’m on the Bibbulmun and Munda Biddi tracks so hikers and mountain bike riders are more than welcome to stay, message me in advance, before you reach the town, to make certain of availability.
Dwellingup is absolutely beautiful and I’d love to show you around.
***** PLEASE READ******
Couchsurfing is a cultural exchange, not just free accomodation. Please do not request more than one or two nights. (I've allowed people to stay longer once we get to know each other) I've had many requests for over a week and up to one month recently which is not what this site is about. I also have many men contacting me thinking this is a dating site. Please stop! I've also received copy and paste applications that don't acknowledge my profile at all or address me personally. If you have zero references, make sure your profile is well filled out with plenty of details of who you are as a person. If you send a request, address me by name. Couchsurfing is a phenomenal way to travel and I love to host. This new wave of surfers is going to give Couchsurfing a bad name. REMEMBER, it's a cultural exchange. Please mention you understand this in your request to stay with me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share, learn and have fun. Couchsurfing is a mutual exchange of culture and kindness. I like to think of Couchsurfing as spreading peace on Earth. By offering a bed to a traveller, a hot shower, some nourishing delicious food and great conversations - is peace to me.
