ABOUT ME

I'm a down to earth person that goes with the flow and enjoys the magic of everyday life. I'm a relatively active person, who loves the outdoors, exploring new environments, sports, and learning. There are a variety of outdoor sports that I enjoy including, hiking, longboarding, climbing, snowboarding, biking, in addition to new sports that I'm always willing to pick up. I also enjoy curling up on the couch with my kitty reading a good book.

I'm really interested in cultures from around the world, particularly different traditional/ alternative medicines of each culture, including how western medicine interacts, interferes, and/or aids in the development of medicine and health of that culture. I'm also interested in archaeology, architecture (green & historic), traveling, politics, environmental Issues, poetry, midwifery, sustainable living, organic farming, changing the world :)

I had the chance to participate in the Bear Dance of the Ute Mountain Ute, Native American Indian tribe, which is not open to the public and is a scared dance.
